About Me

  • Kate
  • Mere

Kate and Meredith grew up together in Tyler, Texas until they were seven when Meredith's family moved to Georgia. They remained best friends and now spend hours on the phone every week sharing recipes and processing all of life's little nuances. They are starkly different yet soulfully similar: Kate is a Houston urban dweller while Meredith lives in a precious little Mayberry community in Columbus, Mississippi where the Air Force currently has her husband stationed. Kate finished her Masters of Social Work in May 2011 and Meredith will finish hers in May 2013. The recipes represented here are a compilation of original recipes and recipes graciously borrowed from others that they want to share with you. They love love, they love people, and they love to cook. This blog is dedicated to their childhood imaginary friends, Bitsa Bitsa and Rag Rag, who ignited a spirit of whimsy and creativity that now exists in their kitchen creations.
